Communications
& Travel specialist

Anna

Hi, I'm

As a media strategist and communications specialist with a background in hospitality, research, and travel, I believe that great communication is like great hospitality: it starts with curiosity, gets personal fast, and makes people feel like they belong. I’ve been guided by my work across the industry by a consistent goal — to connect ideas with people, and people with experiences.

Connecting People Through Culture, Story, and Strategy That Resonates Across Borders

INSIGHT-DRIVEN. GLOBALLY FLUENT.

Before I ever stepped into a pitch meeting or booked a flight on someone else’s behalf, I spent years learning how to ask good questions, research fast, communicate clearly, and—yes—turn a paper in at 11:58 PM.

My academic background shaped the way I think, create, and connect. It gave me the critical lens I use to tell better stories, and the discipline to turn inspiration into actual output. Plus, it taught me how to read 150 pages in one night and still have something thoughtful to say in the morning.

Every story needs structure — and this is mine.

In this original research project, I identified four core themes salient in the text Call Me By Your Name (film, 2017), and ultimately argued that love in a globalized world involves an invitation to communion and shared space, so that the cosmopolitan is able to find home and identity in the experience of connection.

Par ce que c’estoit luy; par ce que c’estoit moy:”
Cosmopolitan Love in Call Me By Your Name

Master's Dissertation

A year spent learning to blend theory and storytelling and writing 12,000 words on love without sounding sappy (mostly).

You learn them by navigating a timezone difference to meet a deadline, answering a parent’s 10 p.m. college admissions email with empathy, and handling a surprise lesson on past participles when your classroom Wi-Fi cuts out. These roles helped me build real world fluency in communication, project management, and problem solving. Plus, they gave me stories I’ll be telling for years.

You can't learn professional instincts in a classroom.

The best lessons are learned by doing — and I’ve done a lot.

Some of the most important professional skills — like getting five people across three time zones to agree on a date, or keeping a VIP calm mid-chaos — happen behind the curtain.

This is where I learned operational grace — the kind that builds trust, keeps a brand running, and makes people say “I don’t know how she pulled that off, but I’m glad she did.”

Not all work is meant for the spotlight.

What I Did

I believe in good writing, strong coffee, and romanticizing everything just enough.

I’m Anna — writer, communicator, travel obsessive, and person most likely to ask for a local’s restaurant recommendation. I care a lot about good questions, better stories, and finding the sweet spot between being organized and being open to what comes next.
